A week of gently improving sentiment

We have started to see some improvement over the past week. The Metals and Mining Index has pushed through the downtrend line. While that doesn't mean clear sailing from here, it does suggest that the weight of selling seen over the last couple of months is being lifted. Unless there is a shot from left field to cause another round of selling, the focus will be on which stocks are going to lead the market back into positive territory again.
